Arquitetura Hoje! premieres on Arte1, unveiling Afro-Brazilian influence on architecture

New series with Gabriela de Matos, every Thursday at 8:30 PM

Arte1, a channel owned by Grupo Bandeirantes, will premiere the series Arquitetura Hoje! next Thursday (February 13) at 8:30 PM, presenting a unique perspective. The production highlights the ancestral knowledge and technologies developed by Afro-Brazilian culture and how they influence both the creation and interpretation of Brazilian architecture.

Architect and researcher Gabriela de Matos, who conceived the project and conducts the interviews, traveled across different regions of Brazil to illustrate examples and analyze this legacy. The series is produced by Na Laje Filmes. Gabriela also previously hosted the reality show Desapegue Se For Capaz on the GNT channel.
